I had a really pleasant stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Moorpark, Ventura County, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area. From the moment you walk in, they offer refreshing fruit-infused water, which was a great touch and is available 24/7.
The hotel provides a free continental breakfast with a nice variety of options, including bagels, toast, eggs, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, and almond milk, making it easy to find something for everyone. Breakfast was convenient and well stocked, which made mornings stress-free. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly, and customer service really stood out during my stay. When I needed a razor, they brought it right up to my room, and they also provided toothpaste upon request without any issues.
Check-in was smooth overall. There was a small issue when trying to use two credit cards, but the front desk handled it professionally and quickly got everything resolved. The room itself was clean, quiet, and felt fairly new and modern, which made it very comfortable.
The bed and pillows were the perfect balance of soft, firm, and fluffy, extremely comfortable, to the point where I honestly didn’t want to get up in the morning. It was easy to get a great night’s sleep.
I stayed here while visiting Revelation Church in Simi Valley, and the hotel location worked out perfectly, only about a 10-minute drive away. The hotel is also conveniently located near many restaurants. We ate at a nearby pizza restaurant, which was an easy option. One important thing to note is that most nearby restaurants close around 9 or 10 p.m., so plan accordingly for food.
Overall, the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Moorpark, Ventura County is a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with excellent service, modern rooms, and thoughtful amenities. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorpark, Simi Valley, or the greater Ventura County area.
